Since 1970, we have been providing retreats, campgrounds and recreation areas with our tipis. As a service to these facilities that utilize our tipis we offer you this directory listing of their locations, a brief description and a link to their websites. Tipis are an excellent addition to outdoor facilities. The tipi provides an utterly unique over night shelter for campers. Our large tipis can easily accommodate a whole family or camping group. The 26 ft. tipi will sleep 15 to 18 people, a 22 ft. tipi will sleep 10 to 12 people, a 20 ft. 8 to 10 people, an 18 ft. 6 to 8 people and a 16 ft. tipi will sleep 5 people. In most facilities, over night rental rates for one tipi vary from about $20 to $45. The total cost, including shipping, for a 20 ft. tipi is about $1,500. At $25 per night, the tipi will completely pay for itself in about 2 months, and the tipi will last 5 to 10 years depending on fabric choice, winter use, local environmental conditions and care and upkeep. Probably staked down, the tipi is an exceptionally sturdy structure, able to withstand storm winds in excess of 60 mph. We offer a 5% discount on orders of 7 or more tipis.
